When issuing policy speeches, President Obama tends to be a collected person, mostly relying on facts as opposed to plying on emotions. Things were not as usual though as the Commander in Chief of the United States laid out the actions he is taking to curb gun violence in the country.
While announcing new executive actions in the East Room, he paused for a while to wipe off tears when reflecting on the fate of college students in Santa Barbara, high schoolers at Columbine and first graders in Newtown who got their right to life stripped from them through gun violence.
